ABOUT
What's it all about...

"Connection Starts Right Here" Who Wants a Pint? is a simple idea with a big impact: blokes sharing a space, having a pint (or a soft drink), and chatting absolute rubbish together. Because sometimes that’s the best therapy of all. No pressure. No formality. No fixing anyone. Just men being men, shoulder-to-shoulder, reminding ourselves we’re not meant to carry everything alone. Whether you're fighting battles, celebrating wins, or just need to get out of the house for an hour, this space gives you a reason to show up and breathe. It’s real men, real life, real connection, and it’s already making a difference.

WHO
Who's it for...

“A seat for everyone” It's predominantly for men, men who want somewhere to just be themselves. This group welcomes anyone seeking light social interaction, a bit of company, or a reason to get out of the house. It’s also for those who may need emotional support, inspiration, or simply to sit alongside others who understand what life throws at us. This group is aimed at men, although we are fully inclusive and no individual will be turned away based on gender. This is not a crisis service, but a relaxed, welcoming space for connection, conversation, and community.
Men Showing Up, Together
A relaxed space for honest conversations, no pressure or judgement, just blokes being real, opening up naturally, and finding strength together.
Shoulder-to-Shoulder Support
Men standing alongside each other, listening, sharing experiences, offering encouragement, and proving you don’t need formal therapy to feel genuinely understood.
Good People, Good Energy
A pint, a seat, and a few good lads, creating a safe, easy space where conversation flows naturally and community comes alive every single time.
EXPECTATION
What to expect...

"No Pressure, Just Presence" Expect a warm welcome, a relaxed vibe, and zero pressure to talk if you don’t want to. Some lads come to socialise. Others come to share, listen, or find inspiration in the room. You can move between both naturally, nothing is formal, nothing is forced. We kick off with a short intro, settle into easy conversation, and end with a brief takeaway moment so everyone leaves feeling lifted. It’s calm, laid-back, and built around everyday men supporting each other without even realising they’re doing it. You’ll walk out feeling lighter than when you walked in.
WHY
Why this matters...

“Brotherhood saves lives quietly” Men talk about the stigma of “not talking” but our first meet inHuntingdon proved something. Give us the right environment, and we don’t just talk… we open up, lift each other, and walk out stronger. Social isolation is hammering men across the UK. Most of us don’t want formal help. We just need a nudge, a pint, and a room full of lads who get it. This matters because connection saves lives. This matters because turning up is a win. This matters because men deserve spaces where they can just be, and feel better for it.

OTHER GROUPS
Huntingdon social opportunities...

“Strong communities grow through conversation, kindness and connection” Huntingdon is a town built on community, and having welcoming places where people can meet, talk and connect matters. Social groups and informal spaces help reduce loneliness, support wellbeing and help people feel part of something. Whether sharing a coffee, working on a project, or simply having a conversation, these opportunities create positive connections. By raising awareness of local groups and spaces, we hope more residents discover welcoming environments where friendships grow.
Who Wants A Pint Huntingdon? is simply a community social group and not connected to the social opportunities listed. These groups and activities are independent community initiatives with no affiliation to us and are shared purely to raise awareness of local opportunities. By highlighting these spaces, we hope to encourage more people to connect, start conversations, and build stronger community support.
MIND FUEL
Read, reflect, rise...

“One thought can change you” Some days all you need is a few words to spark a change. A quote can kick-start your morning. An article can shift your thinking or lift a weight you didn’t even know you were carrying. Maybe it’s the start of a forgotten dream. Maybe it’s the push you needed to simply get through today. Big breakthroughs don’t always come from big efforts, often they begin with tiny nudges. So read a line, mull it over, and maybe do one thing different. It’s better than doom-scrolling anyway.
